Your war poems

We are pleased to present poems about ongoing and and recent wars by readers of this web site. You will see that many are by serving or former servicemen or their relatives. But many people are deeply affected and concerned by war and have feelings, observations, insights, and comments which seem best expressed in poetic form.  Do send us your poems  -  preferably by email, but not in an attachment. Just copy and paste them into your email. It is easiest to use them if they are in Arial font, single spaced and justified to the left. If you can provide background information about the poem or yourself which we may use then this can often help the reader to appreciate the poem.

Please note we do not publish contemporary poetry in book form, with one exception: Kosovo War Poetry (which is available in paperback). Our book publishing programme is fully committed for the foreseeable future. The next book will be Rules of the World.

Out in the Dark is being reprinted again this month (November 2004).
